Some people call it side-saddle putting or face-on putting. Whatever you want to call it, the DT31.6 from Face the Hole Golf is a mallet-style putter that is center-shafted, face-balanced and has a very high MOI. The head has a black, high gloss finish with extremely long alignment lines in white. The 80 degree lie angle along with all of the other specs make it conform to the rules of golf. At this time, it is only available in right-hand and the recommended putter length is determined by the user’s height.

High quality Winn Grips are used to enable great feel. 

The protective headcover for the DT31.6 is unique, just like the putter. It has a polyurethane outer shell with an acrylic fur lining for maximum protection. The unique, patented magnetic flap adheres to the top of the putter itself.

THE RULES

There are equipment rules and rules of play. 

Regarding equipment, the putter shaft must have at least a 10% angle. In other words, it can’t be straight up and down. Face The Hole putters have that angle. 

Playing rules say you cannot anchor your hand or forearm to your body. With Face The Hole putting you do neither because your upper hand is well out in front of you with your arm (above the elbow) tucked to your side.

Cover me up!!!!

If you have ever wanted to try Sise Saddle pitting, this is the perfect club for you!!! The valance, the feel, it make the transition so much easier. I will never change back. However!!!
The putter cover provider is TERRIBLE!!
It does not fit snug and the face of the putter is susceptible to damage very easily.
I would ask the company to design a better protective cover and send us each one or a least make it available to us loyal SS era!!!

The putter is excellent!

The putter is excellent! I am doing pretty well on short putts but distance control is difficult with long putts, I have been leaving them short. But I feel really good about this. I made a few outside of 6 feet that I don’t think I would have made otherwise. I’m looking forward to getting some experience.
